What is Acute Care?

Medical needs that are not routine and are not an emergency. ESRH Express Care offers rapid, high-quality care – walk in for urgent needs or care needed in between appointments with your regular health care provider. We combine our high-quality clinical expertise with care and convenience to help patients ages 2+ with urgent or serious, but not life-threatening conditions.

No, you do not need to call ahead or make an appointment for walk-in care. Simply visit any of our participating walk-in locations to be seen for most standard urgent care needs. Our providers are ready to offer same day care—no appointment necessary. While calling ahead isn’t required, it can be helpful to let the clinic know you’re on your way, especially during peak hours.

Quick Sick Care, also known as acute care or walk-in care, is for urgent medical needs that aren’t emergencies but still can’t wait for a regular appointment. At our Walk-In Sick Care centers, we provide fast, high-quality treatment for patients ages 2 and up, offering same day care with no appointment necessary. Our experienced team treats a wide range of non-life-threatening conditions, including minor sprains, burns, cuts, wounds, and rashes; common infections like fever, cold, flu, cough, sore throat, sinus infections, and urinary tract infections; nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea; eye irritation or infection; mild allergic reactions; mild to moderate asthma symptoms; earaches, toothaches, and even suspected broken bones (as long as the bone isn’t displaced). We also care for insect bites and animal bites. Our goal is to get you feeling better, faster—with convenient, compassionate urgent care you can count on.
